Using WTB or WTS or any variation of buyin, sellin, or trading in local should be a banable offense. Except selling or buying sigils as these are slightly more inportant than most of the items beings sold or asked for.

And if you wonder why this is in the off-topic thread its because it will never happen and I can dream and post weird ideas here without most people getting to mad

AGREED. I've been yelling at idiots screaming in local chat that they want to sell stuff. I mean there IS a (expeletive deleted) trade channel - USE IT!!!!!! I dont turn on local to see you want to sell a n00b sword, I turn it on to find a party or to chat with friends.

I ask them politely (once) to use the Trade channel. After that (if I'm bored) I follow up any of their messages with something along the lines of "don't do it! X ripped me off!" They usually go away after that

One time I tried the ol'standby: (this works very well when you know and they most likely know that they are charging too much for the item...)

"I would have purchased your staff from you, but since you were not using the trade channel I did not know if you were serious or not.... sorry."
